The Brazilian market is one of the largest in the world for the Ram brand and it is not difficult to understand this. With just two products, the recently launched Ram 1500 Rebel and the renowned Ram 2500 Laramie (which has sold in the country since 2005), the brand is on the way to doubling the total number of vehicles sold for the second consecutive year. From January to July, there were 2,026 units sold – 1,646 units were from the 2500 Laramie and 380 units from the 1500 Rebel (which began deliveries at the end of April).

Ram is also accelerating strongly in the premium segment. Last month, the Ram 2500 was the second best-selling vehicle in this area, as it is marketed as a premium vehicle. It missed the mark by only 12 units behind an unnamed medium-sized German sedan. The Ram 1500 ranked fifth on that same list, missing fourth place by just four units.

In addition to its sales success in the market, another pillar that supports the Ram Brazil brand’s success is its dealership network. There are already 52 dealers across the country and the brand announced another 4 dealers would be added by the end of 2021. The brand’s level of consumer satisfaction has been growing steadily and in June it reached the highest level in history.

But the biggest news was the announcement of another model joining the Brazilian lineup later this year. The 2022 Ram 3500 Limited Longhorn will be the new addition to the Ram Brazil family. Offered in only one configuration, the Limited Longhorn comes after a successful launch of the limited production Ram 2500 Laramie Rodeo, ensuring that the “western” theme is loved by the people of Brazil.
