A few months ago, we talked about the 2021 Jeep® Gladiator JT370 from off-road industry leader, American Expedition Vehicles (AEV). The JT370 packaged amped up the off-road capability of the popular Gladiator (JT) pickup, without sacrificing the Gladiator’s driveability on the street. It was an impressive package and received a lot of positive feedback from our readers on our social media accounts.
Now, while AEV does offer the package for the Gladiator, it does also offer a very similar JL370 package for the Jeep Wrangler (JL). But over the past week, AEV has posted a very unique JL370 built on its inventory list and it involves using the new Rubicon 392 as its base.
Packed with 470 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque from its 6.4-liter HEMI V8, full-time 4×4, functional hood scoop, a dual-mode performance exhaust, and a long list of premium features standard, including a sport steering wheel with shift paddles and leather-covered performance seats, the Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 392 is the first Jeep in 30-years to pack a V8 under its hood. It also is the most powerful Wrangler ever, with a 0 to 60 mph time of 4.5 seconds.
The JT370 adds a number of goodies to the Rubicon 392’s off-road arsenal, such as…
- AEV RX Front Bumper
- AEV Front Bumper Skid Plate
- AEV Non-Winch Cover Plate
- AEV 7000 Series LED Off-Road Lights

This Wrangler Rubicon 392 is now expedition-ready, thanks to AEV’s DualSport RT suspension system which provides the optimal balance for load-carrying capacity and ride quality. The DualSport RT suspension includes AEV frequency-tuned, triple-rate coil springs to provide 2.5-inches of additional front and rear ride height and a set of custom-tuned Bilstein shock absorbers.
Paired with the DualSport RT suspension, this Rubicon 392 is fitted with 37-Inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO2 Tires wrapped around optional AEV wheels with Beadlock rings. It will make most Rubicon 392 owners forget about the new Xtreme Recon Package that the Jeep brand recently introduced.
For those who like to explore after the sun goes down, visibility is essential for finding your way in the dark but also for keeping an eye out for wildlife or road hazards in remote areas. AEV 7000 Series LED Off-Road Lights were designed for all-terrain travel and provide an exceptional balance of clarity and distance for improved driver safety and peace of mind.
This particular model is fitted with several optional features, including…
