Ram is marking its continued success in Brazil’s agricultural sector with the return of the 2500 Rodeo Edition for the 2024 model year. Originally launched as a limited edition of 100 units in 2021, the 2500 Rodeo Edition sold out in just 10 hours, highlighting its popularity among Brazilian customers.
The new 2024 Rodeo Edition was recently unveiled at the Interlagos Festival—Edição Carros. It commemorates the 77th Anniversary of Brazil’s first official rodeo, which took place in Barretos, São Paulo, in 1947. Limited to 77 units, the special edition model is priced at R$469,990 (or about $92,500 USD).
The truck features a distinctive commemorative badge on the front doors, adding to its exclusivity. The 2500 Rodeo Edition is available only in Pearl White and is based on the Laramie Crew Cab 4×4. It is powered by a 6.7-liter Cummins® turbodiesel I6 engine, delivering 377 horsepower and 1150 Nm (848 lb.-ft.) of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The truck boasts a towing capacity of up to 7.6 tons (16,755 lbs.), making it capable of hauling trailers.
Regarding technology, the 2500 Rodeo Edition includes a 12-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen with wireless Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay and connectivity for two smartphones. It also features 9 USB ports (4 of which are type-C), three 115-volt sockets (two inside the truck and one in the RamBox®), and a 360° camera system. The premium Alpine sound system includes 10 speakers and 506 watts of power, with active noise cancellation.
The interior of the 2500 Rodeo Edition is designed for luxury and comfort. It features black leather and Alcantara upholstery, wooden trim on the door panels, and front seats with 10-position electric adjustment, heating, ventilation, and memory settings. The driver also benefits from electric adjustment for the brake and accelerator pedals.
Inside, the Rodeo Edition features a 6-passenger seating configuration thanks to the addition of a 40/20/40 front bench seat. The middle jump seat also features a center console when the backrest is lowered. The center console features an armrest, object holder, and triple cup holder when lowered.
