Ram G/T Package Equipped Trucks Are Arriving On Dealer Lots!
Rebel, Canadian Sport, & Laramie Models Are Available With The New Performance Package...
RAM has been working hard with continuous changes and improvements since the launch of the fifth-generation Ram 1500 pickup in the 2019 model year. In the past two model years, RAM has released the darkened-theme Night Edition Packages for its Big Horn/Lone Star, Rebel, Sport (Canada), Laramie, and Limited trims, giving the Ram 1500 a more sinister look on the street.
The new G/T Package for the 2022 Ram 1500 Rebel, Canadian Sport, and Laramie models builds upon the sporty look by adding some performance features customers have been asking for.
G/T models will feature all Ram’s capabilities while adding performance touches unique to the G/T models. Starting under the standard Sport Performance Hood, RAM has added a Mopar Ram Airflow cold air intake (part number 77072428AC) and a Mopar cat-back (part number 77072520AA) for a little more grunt.
The G/T models will feature unique interiors as well. The big news here is that the rotary shifter has been replaced by a console-mounted shifter and steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters, just like the popular Ram 1500 TRX performance off-roader. And just like the TRX, the G/T trimmed trucks will feature Performance Pages through the new Uconnect 5 system. The Performance Pages provide access to the real-time vehicle performance information, including timers (such as a 0 to 60 mph elapsed time), G-force, gauges, and engine performance. This data can be downloaded to a USB stick, allowing for easy sharing of driving performance.
The G/T specific interior also includes bucket seats with extra bolstering featuring the G/T logo, Mopar all-weather floor mats, and a Mopar metal pedal kit.
The Night Edition Appearance Packages for all three models are also available with the G/T Package. For Sport and Laramie owners, those are the only way you are able to get the additional 22-inch wheels with the package.
