Ram Expands Dealership Network In Brazil 105% In 2023

Plans On Opening Fourth Flagship Dealer/Store In Brazil, This Quarter...

The Ram brand has been thriving in Brazil. After concluding last year with its best performance ever in the Brazilian market, the American truck brand, considered a premium brand in Brazil, is celebrating another significant milestone: the substantial expansion of its dealer network in 2023. Ram increased its dealer network from only 60 dealers in 2022 to 123 dealers in 2023, marking a remarkable 105% growth in under a year.

Last year saw the launch of the first ‘Ram House,’ a conceptual dealership that embodies the premium positioning of the brand in the Brazilian market. The concept aims to bridge the gap between the origins of the Ram brand and the current moment, featuring a modern look while not neglecting the strength of its rural and agricultural roots.

Presently, there are three ‘Ram Houses’ in Brazil: Alphaville (Barueri – SP), Avenida Europa in São Paulo capital—a prominent location for premium vehicles—and Goiânia – GO. However, the brand isn’t stopping there, as it is set to inaugurate the fourth one this quarter in Florianópolis – SC in the southern region of the country.

“We are preparing to experience the best moment in the history of our brand. Aware that demand would significantly increase with the launch of the new Rampage, we are dedicated to expanding Ram’s presence in the country. We remain committed to the quality service and premium experience that characterize the brand. To achieve this goal, we doubled our network of dealerships and launched Ram House, the first concept store of the brand in the world. For 2024, we are confident in the success of our pickup trucks, always meeting customer expectations throughout the country,” says Juliano Machado, Vice President of Ram for South America.

Brazil does it again. If I were a Ram dealer and could expand my show room or build an addition I’d take a long, hard look at what our South American cousins have done with the “Ram House”. When discussing dealership experiences with family recently one member noted the stark diffences in amenities, personnel knowledge and attitude and the general impression between their Jeep dealer and their import luxury dealership experience. Now that Ram prices are through the roof, should not our Mopar dealerships take a page from their foreign
competitors playbook ? Ram House puts buyers in a luxury mindset when trucks now have gone from work horses to luxury thoroughbreds.
