Ram Brings The Popular ‘Built To Serve’ Edition Back For 2023!
This Model Honors Emergency Medical Service Personnel...
Ram Trucks is kicking off the 2023 model year by unveiling a new Ram 1500 ‘Built To Serve’ Edition model. This time, it will honor Emergency Medical Service (EMS) personnel. The 2023 Ram 1500 ‘Built To Serve’ EMS Edition is based on the Big Horn/Lone Star Crew Cab and will be available with either the award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 or the legendary 5.7-liter HEMI V8, both with eTorque mild-hybrid assist.
Cosmetics
These ‘Built To Serve’ models will be available in Hydro Blue or Bright White. Setting the ‘Built To Serve’ Editions apart from other Ram 1500s are the U.S. Flag and ‘Built to Serve’ decal on the rear box sides, black front and rear bumpers, a black grille and surround, black badging, body-colored fender flares, black bezel LED headlamps and tail lights from the Rebel and Night Edition trucks, black wheel to wheel side steps, and a set of black 4-inch exhaust tips. The wheels are also the 20-inch aluminum wheel design from the Big Horn Black package but are finished in a unique Technical Gray finish, exclusive to the Built to Serve trucks.
The ‘Built To Serve’ edition gets a unique interior as well, featuring a ‘Built to Serve’ instrument panel badge, Deeply bolstered performance cloth and premium vinyl Sport seats, Black Onyx Chrome interior trim, All-weather rubber slush mats, optional Lockable console storage, and blue accent stitching.
As with previous ‘Built To Serve’ edition trucks, there are embroidered velcro patches on the front seats for owners to attach their patches – regimental, flags, name tapes, or slogans – to personalize their ‘Built to Serve Edition.’ The front seat backs are also covered with Pouch Attachment Ladder System/Modular Lightweight Load-bearing Equipment (PALS/MOLLE) webbing to attach additional equipment or pouches.
