Ram Brings Direct Connection Accessories to the RHO

MagnaFlow Exhaust Systems Kick Off the Program

When Ram unveiled the 1500 RHO, it immediately drew attention as a performance-focused half-ton meant to take on the off-road segment. But while the truck had the horsepower and looks, one of the biggest criticisms from fans and owners alike was its lack of exhaust presence. That’s changing now, as Ram officially launches its first-ever Direct Connection accessories line—kicking things off with a pair of MagnaFlow performance exhaust systems tailored specifically for the 2025+ Ram 1500 RHO.

Direct Connection Expands Beyond Dodge –

For years, Direct Connection has been tied closely to Dodge and its muscle car lineup. Now, Ram is stepping into the picture with its own Direct Connection parts and accessories. This move gives Ram truck buyers a factory-backed way to customize their rigs with performance upgrades designed in collaboration with trusted aftermarket leaders.

Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis put it simply: “Our customers told us they wanted more attitude from the Ram 1500 RHO, and we’re here to give it to them. Performance isn’t just about horsepower and torque; it’s about the full sensory experience. With our new MagnaFlow exhaust options, we’re handing drivers the volume knob and letting them crank it to eleven.”

Just the other day, we talked about MagnaFlow’s new xMOD Cat-Back Performance Exhaust System designed for the RHO. Now, Ram has gone a step further by officially introducing both the xMOD and the SPEQ Series systems as the very first Ram accessories under the Direct Connection banner.

Both systems share the same quality construction:

  • Three-inch mandrel-bent stainless steel tubing

  • Dual five-inch black chrome exhaust tips

  • MagnaFlow’s Tru-X crossover pipe (X-pipe) for smooth flow

  • No Drone Technology (NDT) mid-pipe chamber to keep cabin noise in check

  • Dual exit design with aggressive presence

SPEQ Series – Balanced and Refined –

The SPEQ Series is engineered for drivers who want a deeper, more aggressive tone without going over the top. It delivers a balanced exhaust note during normal driving, but opens up under throttle to give the RHO the bark it deserves. It also comes with valve-integrated mid-pipes for added adjustability.

MSRP: $2,089 through Direct Connection, or $1,999 directly from MagnaFlow.

xMOD Series – Six Voices in One –

The xMOD Series is the more versatile option, letting owners swap out exhaust modules to dial in their perfect sound. From a tamer street setup to an all-out competition roar, it offers six unique configurations. Race-bred V-band clamps make module swaps quick and secure, while swappable mid-pipes (with or without valves) allow for further fine-tuning.

MSRP: $3,099 through Direct Connection, or $2,999 directly from MagnaFlow.

Why It Matters –

These exhaust kits aren’t just about volume—they mark the start of something bigger. Ram is officially carving out its own slice of the Direct Connection program, giving truck enthusiasts the same kind of factory-backed customization that Dodge muscle fans have enjoyed. And while buyers might pay a slight premium through Direct Connection (around $100 more than purchasing from MagnaFlow directly), the benefit is dealer installation and official backing and branding.

For Ram 1500 RHO owners, it’s a win-win: more sound, more attitude, and the start of a new era of performance parts made just for Ram trucks.
