PREFIX Is Auctioning Off Their One Off Challenger TA2 Tribute Car:
Challenger T/A Has Nothing On This Actual Trans Am-Based Challenger...
Our friends at PREFIX Corporation are known for building not only concept cars for the Detroit-based automakers, some amazing race engines for the Trans Am Series, as well as some amazing specialty built vehicles like the Ram 1500 Minotaur. With the company celebrating its 40th anniversary this year and their partnership with the Stevens-Miller Racing team that ended up leading to the Trans Am TA2 championship this year, the PREFIX team built a unique one-off street legal 2018 Dodge Challenger to promote their championship run. Now PREFIX is auctioning that very same car.
Starting off with a 2018 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack powered by the 6.4-liter HEMI V8 and paired with a 6-speed manual, the car has been modified with a Comp camshaft, a Flowmaster cat-back exhaust system with active tuning, Eibach suspension, an adjustable carbon-fiber Trans Am TA2 rear wing, chin spoiler with an adjustable front splitter, and a graphics package that clones the car driver Marc Miller dominated the TA2 series in, earlier this year.
The car has been all over the country at different Trans Am events, as well as a number of exhibitions and other appearances. The car currently has 14,000 miles on the odometer and of course, has a clean CARFAX history.
Seeing the car in person, that huge carbon-fiber Trans Am TA2 rear wing makes this Challenger stand out compared to your average Challenger on the street.
Inside, the car is virtually untouched and remains stock with power-adjustable sport seats Alcantara, as well as a premium sound system, an 8.4-inch Uconnect screen, and a wireless charging pad for added convenience. The best thing is, just like the race car, shifting gears is mandatory in this car – no automatics here.
You can see more photos and information about the PREFIX Dodge Challenger on the auction site. The auction ends on Monday, January 13th, 2020 at 4:55 pm EST. This car makes us anxious to see that start of next season TA2 action.
