Powerbuilt Tools Joins Jim Dunn Racing for 2023 NHRA Season
Will Continue To Campaign Dodge Charger Funny Car Bodies In 2023...
Powerbuilt Tools of Southern California has announced its partnership with Jim Dunn Racing as an associate sponsor for the full 2023 NHRA season. The tool manufacturer, a long-time supporter of NHRA Drag Racing, has worked with NHRA competitor and new Dunn driver Alex Laughlin for several years and is excited about his jump to the Funny Car class with the historic team.
As an associate sponsor, Powerbuilt Tools will have its logos prominently displayed on the car and crewmembers will utilize their products in the pit area. Jim Dunn Racing will continue to campaign Dodge Charger SRT HELLCAT Funny Car bodies for the 2023 season, without factory support.
After following Laughlin’s career advancements in Pro Stock, Pro Mod, Street Outlaws, Top Fuel, and now Funny Car, Powerbuilt Tools has high expectations for this season. “At Powerbuilt Tools, we are suppliers of products to many fans in the automotive industry and are also drag racing enthusiasts at the same time,” said Powerbuilt Tools Marketing Director Desiree Martinez. “We look forward to seeing the Jim Dunn Racing Funny Car compete at NHRA national events this season with Alex at the wheel.”
Jim Dunn Racing recently tested and licensed Laughlin in its Funny Car at Famoso Dragstrip in Bakersfield and is now gearing up to transport the Funny Car and equipment for the season-opening Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals.
The partnership between Powerbuilt Tools and Jim Dunn Racing is a testament to the strong relationship between tool manufacturers and NHRA Drag Racing. It is also a great example of how companies in the automotive industry can support and elevate talented drivers in the sport.
