FIAT Expands and Modernizes Its Panda Lineup for 2026

Grande Panda and Pandina Offer Unified Design, New Powertrains, and Broader Market Reach

For 2026, FIAT has officially renewed its most iconic nameplate — the Panda — with a modernized, unified lineup built around two distinct but complementary models: the Grande Panda and Pandina. The goal is simple: offer affordable, flexible, and eco-conscious urban mobility that fits every lifestyle.

A Simplified and Unified Family –

The 2026 Panda lineup is designed to make choosing a FIAT easier. Both the Grande Panda and Pandina now follow a consistent three-trim structure: POP, ICON, and LA PRIMA (or CROSS for Pandina). This change helps simplify the customer experience while improving equipment levels, technology, and style across the range.

Orders for both models are opening gradually throughout Europe, and for the first time, the Grande Panda will be offered in right-hand-drive (RHD) markets — signaling FIAT’s renewed push for global accessibility.

Grande Panda: The Foundation of a Global Family –

The Grande Panda is more than just a larger Panda — it’s the base for a new generation of global FIAT vehicles. Compact yet versatile, the model blends Italian design flair with everyday practicality.

For 2026, buyers can choose from gasoline, hybrid, and 100% electric powertrains, a lineup designed to meet the growing diversity in customer needs while keeping emissions low.

POP –

The entry-level POP trim emphasizes functionality and value. It features manual air conditioning, a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, smart station with voice recognition, and a full suite of ADAS safety systems including six airbags.

ICON –

Sitting at the heart of the range, the ICON trim adds extra flair and comfort. Highlights include LED headlights and taillights, black-painted mirrors and handles, a rear spoiler, a 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless mirroring, and a six-speaker audio system.

LA PRIMA –

At the top, the LA PRIMA represents the most refined interpretation of the Grande Panda. It includes 17-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, privacy glass, and premium interior touches such as fabric upholstery, a soft-touch steering wheel, and the brand’s clever “Bambox” dashboard storage system. Technology takes center stage with embedded navigation, wireless phone charging, automatic climate control, rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera, and rain sensors.

Pandina: Small, Smart, and Spirited –

The Pandina, affectionately known as the “little Panda,” continues its legacy as FIAT’s most accessible and beloved city car. Measuring just 3.69 meters (157 inches) long, it’s designed for tight city streets but capable enough for short road trips.

For 2026, the Pandina is offered exclusively as a hybrid, pairing fuel efficiency with simplicity. The trim levels — POP, ICON, and CROSS — align with the Grande Panda for a consistent experience.

POP –

The POP version captures the essence of FIAT practicality: easy to drive, light on the wallet, and packed with everyday essentials.

ICON –

The ICON trim brings added comfort and connectivity while keeping things user-friendly and affordable.

CROSS –

At the top of the Pandina line, the CROSS adds rugged design cues for customers who enjoy a little more adventure. Exterior cladding, distinctive badging, and optional two-tone paint give it a tougher personality.

All Pandina models feature advanced driver assistance systems such as traffic sign recognition, lane-keeping assist, autonomous emergency braking, and drowsiness detection — impressive safety features for a car in this class.

FIAT (RED) Edition Returns for 2026 –

To celebrate the fourth year of its partnership with the (RED) organization, FIAT will once again offer a special edition of both the Grande Panda and Pandina in the distinctive red colorway. When ordered in this hue, each vehicle proudly displays two (RED) badges on its B-pillars, symbolizing FIAT’s ongoing commitment to global health initiatives.

The Panda Legacy, Renewed –

With the new 2026 Panda family, FIAT continues to evolve one of Europe’s best-known small cars. By combining hybrid and electric technology with user-friendly design and a unified trim structure, FIAT is ensuring that the Panda name remains at the forefront of accessible, sustainable mobility — whether in bustling city streets or new global markets.
