Securing not one but two awards, Ram dominated the “Semi-Light Truck” category with its Ram 3500 model and also clinched the “Semi-Light Truck Brand” award for its collective sales achievements in the Brazilian market last year. This triumph follows the brand’s notable success in the same categories the previous year, solidifying its position as a rising star in the Brazilian automotive market.
Ram’s flagship, the Ram 3500, clinched the title of the best-selling model among semi-light trucks in its class, boasting a Total Gross Weight (PBT) above 7,716 pounds (3,500 kg) and less than 13,228 pounds (6 tons). The Ram 3500, with 11,775 pounds (5,352 kg), took home the award for the second consecutive time after selling an impressive 3,138 units in the previous year. This robust pickup, available in the Brazilian market for almost two years, has consistently stood out for its exceptional sales performance since its debut.
The Lotus Champion Sales Award, an esteemed recognition in its 31st year, applauds manufacturers and distributors of commercial vehicles that shine in the Brazilian market. The judging criteria are based on vehicle registrations reported by Fenabrave and Anfavea through the Renavam system for the preceding year.
