Rare 1993 Dodge Ramcharger Canyon Sport 4×4 Hits BringATrailer

Low-Mile Lifted SUV Showcases Dodge’s Rugged Early-’90s Styling and V8 Muscle

A seldom-seen piece of Dodge truck history has surfaced on BringATrailer.com — a 1993 Dodge Ramcharger Canyon Sport 4×4, one of roughly 200 examples built for that model year. This rare trim was a short-lived special edition that combined two-tone paint, sporty graphics, and full-time 4WD capability with Dodge’s tried-and-true 5.9-liter MAGNUM V8.

Finished in Dark Forest Green Metallic with Light Sand Metallic lower bodywork, this particular Ramcharger perfectly captures early-’90s Mopar truck design. It rides higher than stock thanks to a 3-inch suspension lift and rolls on 15-inch eight-hole alloy wheels wrapped in 33×12.50-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires, giving it the perfect stance for weekend trail adventures or local cruise-ins. The look is capped off by factory Canyon Sport striping, a rear roof vent, and a receiver hitch.

Inside, the cabin sports a welcoming mix of Spice Tan cloth and vinyl upholstery with woodgrain dash accents that scream vintage Dodge. The interior feels like a time capsule from the era, with features such as a cassette stereo, cruise control, digital clock, power windows and locks, and cold-blowing air conditioning. The truck’s six-digit odometer shows 78,000 miles — though its Carfax notes a “Not Actual Mileage” title issued in Iowa back in 2005, a common notation for older vehicles.

Under the hood lies the heart of Dodge’s late pre-Ram truck era: a 5.9-liter (360 cubic-inch) MAGNUM V8 producing 230 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. Power is channeled through a four-speed automatic transmission, dual-range transfer case, and limited-slip rear differential. Factory skid plates protect the fuel tank and transfer case, while an auxiliary transmission cooler helps keep things running smooth during towing or off-road use.

Originally purchased by the current owner from the reported second owner in 2025, this Ramcharger comes with factory literature, a clean Carfax history, and a California title in the seller’s name. It’s currently live on BringATrailer, with bidding scheduled to end Sunday, November 9, at 1:14 p.m. EDT. For collectors of classic Dodge SUVs or anyone chasing that pure ’90s truck nostalgia, this Canyon Sport edition might just be one of the coolest surviving Ramchargers left.
