Meet The 2026 Jeep® Wrangler (JL) Whitecap

Jeep Rolls Out Its Second “Twelve 4 Twelve” Model

The Jeep® brand is keeping the momentum rolling in its yearlong “Twelve 4 Twelve” celebration with the debut of its second buzz model, the 2026 Jeep Wrangler Whitecap. Building on the excitement that followed November’s launch of the Wrangler Moab 392, the new Whitecap brings a clean, heritage-influenced look that stands out on the trail or in town.

As part of the Twelve 4 Twelve program—which will see an exclusive Wrangler variant released each month for a full year—the Whitecap leans heavily into Jeep history. Its signature look draws from the early CJ-Universal and its unmistakable Arctic White top, a design element longtime Jeep fans recognize instantly. This modern revival sharpens the lines, brightens the contrast, and adds a level of customization that Jeep owners crave.

“The Jeep Wrangler Whitecap is more than a special edition; it’s a statement,” Jeep® CEO Bob Broderdorf said. “It honors Jeep brand heritage while introducing a striking two-tone look that turns heads on any trail. Just like every model in the Twelve 4 Twelve series, Whitecap is designed to stand out—a true tip of the hat to the brand’s legendary legacy. With more ways to personalize and customize than ever before, we’re giving Jeep owners the freedom to make their Wrangler truly their own.”

The Whitecap package is available exclusively on two trims: the well-equipped Sahara and the trail-dominant Rubicon X. Both can be configured with either the turbocharged 2.0-liter GME-T4 I4 or the proven 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, giving buyers flexibility between torque-rich turbo power or the smoothness and durability of a naturally aspirated V6. As with any Wrangler, real 4×4 capability comes standard, with a choice of part-time or full-time Selec-Trac transfer cases depending on trim.

Where the Whitecap truly separates itself is in the details. The package includes a Bright White-painted hardtop and a matching Bright White seven-slot grille, creating a crisp two-tone look when paired with body-color fender flares on Sahara models (optional on Rubicon X). Both Sahara and Rubicon receive a Bright White 1941-style side stripe, while Rubicon gets an additional Bright White hood decal for a little extra attitude. For those who want open-air freedom at the push of a button, the Sky One-Touch power top is also available in Bright White.

Orders are officially open, with pricing structured based on trim. The Whitecap package starts at $495 on Rubicon X, $2,690 on Sahara (which includes the optional body-color hardtop), and $3,185 on Rubicon (which adds the body-color fender flares and body-color hardtop). For a limited-run appearance package, this is one of the most affordable ways to make a Wrangler stand out while tapping into eight-plus decades of Jeep identity.

Heritage meets modern capability once again—and the Twelve 4 Twelve series shows no signs of slowing down.

Are they crazy?? No one is asking for this. We have asked for an I6 or new V8 variant in the GC/GCL, mild/full hybrids that actually work in combination with these engines, instead they are pulling out stickers and an old engine. They haven't changed the playbook and wonder why people are moving on to other brands. Ford is updating it's engines and GM is working on new ones, while Stellantis keeps trying tell buyers what they want instead of just giving them what they want.
