Michael Ferreira Tapped to Lead Stellantis U.S. Fleet Sales
Stellantis Names Industry Vet to Boost Fleet and Commercial Business

Stellantis North America has just brought in a heavy-hitter to lead its U.S. fleet sales division. Michael Ferreira, a seasoned veteran in the fleet and mobility space, has officially been named Senior Vice President of U.S. Fleet Sales — and he’s jumping into the role immediately.
Ferreira steps into the position with a strong resume that spans multiple industries and continents. Most recently, he was Vice President of Corporate Mobility at AutoNation, one of the largest automotive retailers in the country. Before that, he held top-level positions at global names like Octo Telematics, Hertz, and even helped lead financial services operations for Porsche and Volkswagen.

Now, he joins Stellantis with a clear mission: revitalize and grow the commercial and fleet side of the business. He’ll be working closely with Stellantis veteran Jeff Kommor, who continues to head up U.S. retail sales.
The appointment comes at a key time for Stellantis. While the company has seen a rebound in sales to everyday customers thanks to lower prices, more incentives, and aggressive advertising, the fleet side has lagged behind. In fact, overall U.S. sales for Stellantis dropped 12% in Q1 2025 compared to the same time last year, due in part to weak fleet and commercial numbers.

With Ferreira’s deep background in mobility solutions, telematics, finance, and launching new business strategies, Stellantis is betting big on his ability to turn things around. The company says it’s placing “a renewed focus” on its commercial customers — everything from small business fleets to major rental and delivery operations.
“Michael brings a breadth of experience that has made him a recognized leader within the fleet sector and the entire automotive industry,” said Antonio Filosa, Chief Operating Officer for the Americas. “We are looking forward to strengthening our commercial business with a dedicated leader that has exceptional skills in enhancing customer experience through connected vehicles and digital solutions.”

Ferreira also has serious academic credentials, including a doctorate in business management and an MBA from the University of Liverpool.
With this new leadership in place, Stellantis aims to supercharge its fleet strategy and better support its commercial customers—a group that plays a huge role in keeping America’s roads moving and business flowing.
