Mopar Teases Latest Concepts For SEMA With A Trio Of Sketches!

Electrified Jeep® & Two Ram 1500 Concept Are Scheduled For The Event...

With both Ford Motor Company (FoMoCo) and General Motors (GM) dropping out of the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) trade show this year, all eyes are on what Mopar has in store for the event.

Thanks to a recent interview with Autoline After Hours, Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis stated we would see another version of the all-new electrified Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Banshee Concept. Kuniskis said that the car will be a centerpiece for the Direct Connection brand to showcase how the aftermarket parts brand will operate with its electric vehicle portfolio.

But just yesterday, Mopar released a few teaser sketches of a trio of concept vehicles that the aftermarket parts division will showcase at the event.

The first vehicle appears to be a two-toned Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4xe, dubbed “Surge”. What caught our eye from the sketch, is a heritage-looking “EV” badge on the lower part of the front fenders.

The second vehicle centers around a Moparized Ram 1500 (DT) pickup. The truck appears to have some time of aftermarket bed accessory, like a camper or something that fits over the truck’s RamBox system.

The last sketch of a Ram 1500 TRX. While we can’t tell much from the sketch, however, it appears to have a paint scheme very similar to last year’s Rex Runner Concept.

Once again, Mopar will showcase its vehicles and products with a 15,345 sq. ft. exhibit in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. SEMA will take place from November 1st through the 4th.
