Meet The 2023 Ram 1500 (DT) Tradesman Warlock 4×4
The Warlock Package Is Now Available On The Fifth-Gen Ram 1500 Pickup...
In 2019, Ram introduced the fourth-generation Ram 1500 (DS) truck, which continued to be produced under the name Ram 1500 Classic. One of the best-selling models from this lineup was the Ram 1500 Classic Warlock. Paying tribute to the original Warlock pickups from the 1970s, the Warlock offered a well-equipped, factory-customized truck with a unique style, great capability, and excellent value.
Drawing inspiration from the last-generation Ram 1500 Rebel, the Warlock featured several distinctive elements, such as a black grille with prominent R-A-M lettering, 20-inch semi-gloss black aluminum wheels, front and rear powder-coated bumpers, a 1-inch factory lift, black wheel flares, optional LED fog lamps, projector headlamps with dark bezels, LED rear tail lamps, black badging, tow hooks, unique hood decals, and heavy-duty rear shocks. Additionally, there was an optional All-Terrain package for those seeking enhanced off-road capabilities, which included Yokohama LT265/70R17E BSW All-Terrain Tires, 17-inch x 8-inch Matte Black “Rebel” Aluminum Wheels, a full-size spare, and Front & Rear All-Weather Floor Mats.
The Ram 1500 Classic Warlock’s success in North America has been undeniable. While the Classic model would continue to be sold in other regions worldwide, sources indicated that production of the North American model would cease at the end of the current year.
To retain and transition some of the Warlock buyers to the fifth-generation Ram 1500 (DT) truck, Ram had a surprise in store—an all-new Ram 1500 Warlock. This marked the first time the Warlock name would be offered on the fifth-gen Ram 1500, and the new truck was already available in dealer showrooms for the 2023 model year.
The DT Ram 1500 Warlock package was offered on both Quad Cab 4×4 and Crew Cab 5-foot, 7-inch box 4×4 configurations. It came as a $2,995 option on the entry-level Tradesman model, and selecting the Warlock package also meant upgrading to the Tradesman Level 1 Equipment Group for an additional $1,695. This Equipment Group added Carpet Floor Covering, Cloth 40/20/40 Bench Seat, Front and Rear Floor Mats, and a Rear Power-Sliding Window.
