Meet The 2023 Dodge Charger SXT RWD Blacktop Special Edition

Recently, we covered the Blacktop Special Edition package that was released for the Charger GT RWD model. However, it’s worth noting that this package is also available for the entry-level SXT RWD model. With the release of the 2023 Dodge Charger SXT RWD Blacktop Special Edition, customers can now enjoy a performance-oriented sedan that boasts several features designed to enhance both its appearance and performance. As an upgraded version of the standard SXT RWD model, this vehicle offers a glimpse into the exciting and high-performance world of the Charger lineup.

The Blacktop Special Edition package, which costs $2,995, includes several features such as 20-inch low-gloss granite crystal wheels, Brembo four-piston fixed caliper brakes, all-speed traction control, high-performance suspension, black 1-piece performance spoiler, and red brake calipers. The package also includes real carbon fiber interior accents, gloss black fascia applique, and gloss-black instrument cluster trim rings, making the interior feel sportier and more luxurious.

The exterior of the Blacktop Special Edition is enhanced with a Satin Black “Charger” decklid badge, a Satin Black “Dodge” tail lamp badge, and a Black Dodge grille badge. The Rhombi 2-piece wheel center caps also add to the overall look of the car.

The Plus Group and Navigation and Travel Group are optional packages that are required for the Blacktop Special Edition. The Plus Group includes features such as Nappa leather sport seats, ventilated front seats, heated front seats, power front driver and passenger seats, and a heated steering wheel. The Navigation and Travel Group includes a range of features such as SiriusXM Traffic Plus, SiriusXM Travel Link, and a 5-year subscription to SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link.

Under the hood, the 2023 Dodge Charger SXT RWD Blacktop Special Edition comes with a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that produces 292 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and can go from 0 to 60 mph in just over six seconds. The performance-tuned suspension and brakes make it a fun car to drive, with precise handling and responsive steering.

The Sinamon Stick (PEC) exterior color adds a touch of uniqueness to the car and makes it stand out from the rest of the Charger lineup. The car also features a flat-bottom steering wheel and steering-wheel-mounted shift control, giving the driver better control over the car’s performance.

The 2023 Dodge Charger SXT RWD Blacktop Special Edition is priced at $42,700 with destination, making it a bit pricey for an entry-level model. However, with all its features and performance capabilities, it’s far from a base model-equipped car. The car is currently available at Landers Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, and Ram in Little Rock, Arkansas.
