Meet Our Customized 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon!
We Have Some Great Adventures Planned And Will Be Taking You With Us
Last month we added a new vehicle to the MoparInsiders fleet, and now it’s time to show it to all of you. With the rise of popularity of off-roading and off-the-grid exploration, we wanted to get in on the fun, too, enter our new 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon.
While I haven’t really publicly admitted it, I have been a bit of a Wrangler hater for years now. That opinion stems from renting a JK Wrangler years ago during a trip to Cancun. The Wrangler in question was an early JK with the old 3.8 V6, and I spent the whole time with it wondering why anyone would ever buy one until it eventually broke down and the rental company swapped it out for another car.
Of course, that probably wasn’t a fair representation of Wranglers in general, but as they say, your bias is a result of your experiences. That said, I have liked every JL I have driven, and a year and a half ago got to spend a week with a Gladiator Rubicon, which I fell in love with by the time I had to give it back. After a bit of discussion, my girlfriend and I decided to trade in her 2019 Grand Cherokee Limited X and pick up a Wrangler.
We settled on a 2021 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon, powered by the 3.0 EcoDiesel V6 and already lifted and customized by our friends at Epic Adventure Outfitters. They went through the Jeep and added:
HIGH-PERFORMANCE SUSPENSION
Teraflex 3.5” Suspension System
Teraflex Front Drop Brackets
EVO-Spec King 2.0 Shocks
King Steering Stabilizer
WHEELS & TIRES
17×9 Fuel Militia Wheels in Anthracite
37×12.50R17 Nitto Ridge Grappler Tires
OEM TPM Sensors
OTHER
Teraflex Alpha Spare Tire Carrier
Mopar Tailgate Hinge Reinforcement
Tazer Lite Configurator
The only stipulation was that since my girlfriend didn’t like the style of the Fuel Militia wheels, so we swapped them with a set of Fuel Rebel 5s in bronze, which I agree really finished off the look. We will be bringing you guys tons of off-roading content in the future, so make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel as we have tons of adventures planned with friends. My friend Shaun has a very successful off-roading YouTube channel, The Story Till Now, and filmed our Wrangler being built. You can check that out below.
