The Matchbox Dodge Charger Daytona features the innovative R-wing design, showcasing the sleek, aerodynamic aesthetics that define the new era of Dodge muscle cars. One of the standout features of this 1:64 scale model is its opening doors, adding an extra layer of interactivity and realism for collectors and fans alike. This model pays homage to the cutting-edge design of the real Charger Daytona and embodies the spirit of the Dodge Brotherhood of Muscle in a miniature form.

The All-New 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T and Scat Pack –

The production 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona First Editions will include the R/T and Scat Pack variants, marking the introduction of the first fully electrified muscle car to the Dodge lineup. These next-generation Charger models debut the STLA Large platform, a highly flexible, BEV-native platform designed to support extreme power and performance. The all-electric, all-wheel-drive Charger Daytona models are powered by a 400-volt propulsion system V8 performance with zero tailpipe emissions and instant torque response.

This advanced system includes a high-voltage battery pack, dual integrated charge module, and front and rear electric drive modules (EDM). The front EDM features a front-wheel end disconnect for improved range and efficiency, while the rear EDM includes a mechanical limited-slip differential for enhanced traction and performance. Each EDM generates 335 horsepower (250 kW) and 300 lb.-ft. of torque, resulting in a combined output that propels the Charger Daytona with exhilarating speed and power.

The battery pack, with a 100.5 kWh installed capacity and a peak discharge rate of 550 kW, is designed to maximize acceleration, particularly over a quarter-mile stretch. The prismatic cell structure offers better thermal performance and structural stability, akin to the high-octane fuel of traditional muscle cars. The Charger Daytona R/T arrives with a Direct Connection Stage 1 upgrade kit that boosts total output to 496 horsepower. The Daytona Scat Pack features a Stage 2 kit that elevates power to a remarkable 670 horsepower. Future models will offer further customization with additional Direct Connection Stage kits.

I'm going to try and find one of these Matchbox Chargers. It will make a great paper weight, just like a full sized real Charger Daytona EV will soon after the software glitches show up. 😟

You were rosy last night........... for sure like all EVs a few will brick, and much hand wringing will occur.

Car shaped Autonomous Robots will have issues, hell now even ICE cars are Autonomous Robots with an ICE generator, so yeah ever possible situation of the integration to deal with will be missed. Sort of missed to old cars with not a single digital chip in them, but those days are long past.
