Maserati Teams Up With Mattel For Ultra-Limited Barbie® Grecale Trofeo Fuoriserie Edition!

On Tuesday night, Maserati pulled the covers off of an all-new ultra-limited Fuoriserie model at the Neiman Marcus holiday launch soirée in Los Angeles. Done in collaboration with Mattel’s Barbie®, the Barbie x Maserati Grecale Trofeo SUV will be part of the luxury retailer’s 2022 Neiman Marcus Fantasy Gifts lineup.

The Barbie x Maserati Grecale Trofeo SUV is a work of art designed under Maserati’s Fuoriserie customization program, which allows car lovers to express their passion and creativity in the creation of their ultimate Italian luxury car, according to their singular style and taste.

This U.S.-exclusive version will only have 3 units produced by the customization program. Another variant for the global market will be announced sometime in 2023.

This Barbie x Maserati Grecale Trofeo pulsates pure adrenaline thanks to its powerful 530-horsepower twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter Nettuno V6 engine. In full Barbie fashion, an expression of her iconic pink hue covers nearly every inch of the dreamy car with fine acid-yellow lines, inspired by the Trident’s racing heritage.

The exterior is adorned with the Barbie logo, which is sealed with an iridescent topcoat that reveals an incredible rainbow effect on a beautiful sunny day. Its sleek black interior features full-leather seats, dashboards, carpets, and doors – accented with pink stitching – as well as branded headrests with the unique “B” badge.

With a price tag of $330,000 USD, the Barbie x Maserati Grecale Trofeo is far from reasonably priced. Especially since the standard 2023 Maserati Grecale Trofeo has a starting U.S. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $102,500.

And through March 31st, 2023, Mattel will donate 10% of the sales price of the U.S.-exclusive Barbie x Maserati Grecale Trofeo to the Barbie Dream Gap Project page on GoFundMe.org.
