Jeep® Releases A New High-Velocity Yellow Wrangler Early!
New High-Impact Color Arrives At Texas Dealer...
A new 2022 Jeep® Wrangler (JL) model painted in the all-new High-Velocity Yellow (PJF) exterior color has been spotted on a dealer lot. High-Velocity Yellow is the second shade of yellow exterior paint to be offered on the current-generation Wrangler, with the first being Hella-Yella available from 2018 to 2021.
Jeep states that the new color is a “high energy”, high-impact yellow that is “authentic and not afraid to stand out, just like the Jeep Wrangler community”.
The all-new exterior color will be available on all Wrangler models (Sport, Sport S, Sahara, Rubicon, 4xe, and Rubicon 392) beginning this month and has an additional charge of $395.
The color is scheduled to start scheduled production in April. We saw a similar deal where a few units of special edition colors were sent to dealers ahead of schedule, like a Gecko Green Wrangler Sahara Altitude that was sent to a Michigan dealer over three months before it was scheduled for production.
High-Velocity Yellow is available now for custom orders. The new exterior color will be available throughout the rest of the 2022 model year. This particular model, a High-Velocity Yellow-painted 2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara was shown on the Susquehanna Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Wrightsville, Pennslyvania Facebook page. However, the vehicle was actually sent to San Marcos Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in San Marcos, Texas. It appears that the vehicle has already been sold.
Nevertheless, expect Jeep to continue to release more special edition colors throughout the model year.
