Jeep® Japan Launches Limited 2026 Wrangler Rubicon Two-Door
Compact Off-Roader Celebrates Jeep’s Heritage With Special Military Green Finish
Jeep® Japan is introducing a new limited-run model for 2026 — the Wrangler Rubicon (JL) two-door ‘41 Edition.’ Only 150 units will be offered exclusively in the Japanese market, each priced at ¥8,540,000 (approximately $55,000). The model pays tribute to Jeep’s deep military roots, blending off-road capability with a compact, nostalgic design.

The Wrangler Rubicon name traces back to California’s legendary Rubicon Trail — one of the toughest off-road routes in the world. True to its heritage, the 2026 Wrangler Rubicon two-door ‘41 Edition’ is engineered to conquer harsh terrain with confidence. It comes equipped with Jeep’s Rock-Trac® full-time 4×4 system, featuring a 4:1 low-range gear ratio for improved torque delivery and maximum traction. An electronic front and rear locking differential evenly distributes power to all four wheels, while the electronic sway bar disconnect system enhances suspension travel for better ground contact on uneven trails.
What sets this model apart is its distinctive “‘41” military-inspired paint finish — a rich green hue that nods to 1941, the year the first Jeep, the Willys MB, was born. The compact two-door body provides exceptional maneuverability with a tight 5.3-meter (17.4-foot) turning radius, making it ideal for narrow urban streets or tight off-road trails. Combined with a robust frame, short wheelbase, and advanced off-road hardware, this Wrangler is both rugged and easy to handle.

Inside, the cabin retains the Rubicon’s familiar utilitarian-yet-premium feel, with durable materials suited for both daily use and off-road adventures. The model’s limited production run ensures exclusivity for Jeep enthusiasts and collectors alike.
To commemorate the purchase, each buyer will receive an exclusive 75-liter Jeep-branded THOR storage container — perfect for hauling gear on weekend getaways or trail runs.

The 2026 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon two-door officially goes on sale across Jeep’s authorized dealer network in Japan starting November 15. This special model not only honors Jeep’s storied past but also continues its legacy as the go-anywhere, do-anything 4×4 icon.
