Jeep® Grand Wagoneer (WS) Makes Its Official International Debut In The Middle East
Series I & Series III Models Are Now Available For Pre-Orders...
The full-size premium Grand Wagoneer (WS) has made its official debut in the Middle East, the only other market where it will be sold outside of North America. As the premium extension of the Jeep® brand, the Grand Wagoneer looks to place itself in one of the most competitive premium markets for SUVs on the planet.

Upon its launch in the Middle East, Jeep will make two Grand Wagoneer models available for pre-order: the Series I and Series III. Both versions will be available in either standard or “L” long-wheelbase configurations and will be powered by the new twin-turbo 3.0-liter Hurricane inline-six-cylinder H.O. engine and a ZF-sourced 8HP75 8-speed automatic transmission.
Now that Hurricane H.O. does get some tuning adjustments for the Middle East, which kicks power down to 493 horsepower and 494 lb.-ft. of torque. That’s a difference of 17 horsepower and 6 lb.-ft. of torque from its North American counterparts. But it won’t affect towing as it still will tow up to 7,850 lbs. when properly equipped.

Now Jeep hasn’t released any details, other than the Obsidian model of the Grand Wagoneer will come to the Middle East at a later date.
It is unclear if the Wagoneer will make its debut there. However, last year we did see multiple Wagoneer models running around the Metro Detroit area in what appeared to be Middle East-spec configuration. So we wouldn’t be surprised if that model makes its debut at a later date like the blacked-out Obsidian.
Grand Wagoneer models will have a starting price of pre-VAT: $ 126,800.
