Jeep Europe Launches New Upland and High Altitude Special Editions
Latest Jeep SUVs with Exceptional Off-Road Capabilities, Fuel Efficiency, and Advanced Technology Features...
Jeep® Europe has recently announced the opening of orders for their latest special edition SUV models – the Jeep Renegade and Compass Upland and the Jeep Compass High Altitude. These special editions are designed to offer both elegance and fun in driving, while maintaining Jeep’s legendary off-road capabilities.
Renegade and Compass Upland 4xe –
The Upland special edition of the Renegade and Compass is available on the 240 horsepower 4xe plug-in hybrid version, which integrates two electric motors and an 11.4-kWh battery pack with a fuel-efficient 1.3-liter turbo gasoline engine and 6-speed automatic transmission. This technology provides two cars in one – a battery electric vehicle and a conventional vehicle with an internal combustion engine, making it ideal for both off-road adventures and everyday city driving. With full-electric mode, customers can travel with zero emissions and an average range of 31 miles (50 kilometers), reducing CO2 emissions to less than 50 g/km and lowering the cost of ownership.
Compass High Altitude e-Hybrid –
The High Altitude special edition of the Compass offers a versatile and relaxing hybrid driving experience, with 130 horsepower and 177 ft.-lb. (240 Nm) of peak torque, coupled with a new 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The Compass High Altitude also has several “EV features” that allow it to move in electric mode, such as Silent Start, Energy Recovery, Boost & Load Point Shift, and Electric Drive.
Technology –
Both the Renegade and Compass Upland and the Compass High Altitude are based on the popular Limited trim and feature cornering fog lamps, full LED headlights with auto-high beam, and roof rails. Inside the cabin, the Renegade has a 7-inch TFT cluster display and Uconnect 4C with an 8.4-inch touchscreen, while the Compass Upland and High Altitude come with a TFT color display of 10.25-inch and Uconnect 5 with a 10.1-inch touchscreen, offering complementary and smart features such as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay applications.
Design –
Designed for those who want to fully enjoy the off-road capabilities of Jeep vehicles, the Renegade and Compass Upland special editions are equipped with cleanable and washable seats. On the Compass, a bronze MetaKrome finish enhances the entire profile of the dashboard, while the Renegade features bronze MetaKrome painted finishes on the front speakers and air vent bezels. Both models have exclusive black cloth bucket seats with bronze inserts and a Techno-leather steering wheel to complete the look.
On the other hand, the Compass High Altitude special edition features exclusive black details and unmistakable body-colored bumpers and mudguards that enhance its elegance and shape, all combined with the exclusive 19-inch Gloss Black aluminum wheels. Its interiors are characterized by a dedicated set of cloth and vinyl seats enriched by red stitching and completed with the 2-way powered lumbar adjustment.
Safety –
Safety is not compromised with these special edition SUVs as they are equipped with a full pack of safety and security features, including standard Forward Collision Warning and Active Lane Management System, as well as Adaptive Cruise Control.
Colors –
All special edition models are available in Alpine White, Black, and Colorado Red, while the Upland special editions also add the adventurous Sting-Gray and Shade Blue for a total of five exterior color options. Customers can also choose to match these colors with a two-tone black roof for an even more customizable look.
