This past week at the Chicago Auto Show, Jeep introduced another dark appearance package for its highly-popular three-row Grand Cherokee L (WL75) SUV. Now, the American adventure brand is ready to pull the covers off of another new dark appearance package on its recently updated Compass (MP) compact SUV.
The 2022 Jeep Compass Altitude, is based on the popular mainstream Latitude trim. However, it adds a number of additional content that includes…

- Daylight Opening (DLO) Moldings

“The 2022 Jeep Compass ushered in new levels of comfort and functionality. Its legendary 4×4 capability remains at its core, while the stunning, all-new handcrafted interior and advanced technologies attract buyers who want an even more custom look,” said Jim Morrison, Vice President and Head of Jeep North America. “We’re taking Compass to another level with the new Altitude Package, which adds a distinctive look that will stand out on both the trails and on the streets.”
The Compass Altitude 4×4 models come standard with the class-leading Selec-Terrain traction management system, which offers three traction control settings (Auto, Snow, Sand/Mud) to provide optimized calibrations for any given driving scenario.
The Compass Altitude package will have a U.S. Manufacturer’s Suggest Retail Price (MSRP) of $1,645 over the Compass Latitude Lux model. Since Canada does not get the Latitude Lux, the Altitude will be its own stand-alone model and will have a Canadian MSRP of $38,095.
Ordering for the Compass Altitude is available in both the United States and Canada now. The Altitude is the second dark-themed package for the Compass, as the updated model launched with the more luxurious High Altitude package already.
