Jeep® Brazil Celebrates 400,000th Renegade Sold In Brazilian Marketplace!
Renegade Launched In Brazil In 2014...
The Jeep® Renegade (B1) has always been synonymous with adventure and off-road capability and arrived in the Brazilian market in 2015 to revolutionize its segment. The model, which has always stood out for its comfort and technology, has now reached yet another important milestone since its launch: it has sold over 400,000 units in Brazil.
“The Jeep Renegade is a protagonist in the history of Jeep in Brazil. He arrived in the country and redefined his segment with all the essence, capacity, and authenticity of Jeep! Success with each generation launched, our Renegade is an icon, a true Jeep, which carries and provides Brazilians with all the values of our brand: adventure, freedom, authenticity, and passion.”, said Alexandre Aquino, Vice President of Jeep for South America. “In a market with very similar proposals, Renegade has always brought innovation and exclusive content that surprised and positioned our model in a unique way. It’s much more than an SUV, it’s a Jeep!” added Aquino.
The Jeep Renegade has already received numerous recognitions and awards over the years in which it is marketed in Brazil. With an update in February 2022, the Jeep Renegade brought an even more modern look inside and outside the cabin with advanced technologies, more safety, and surprising performance, thanks to the turbocharged 1.3-liter “T270” or “FireFly” inline-four-cylinder engine up to 185 horsepower, the most category power. All this, of course, without giving up the off-road capability, which is a hallmark of all Jeeps, especially in 4×4 versions.
“To reach 400,000 units sold is an incredible mark. From the beginning of its commercialization, the Jeep Renegade enchanted the market with attributes that made it so desired, such as technology, off-road capability, and all Jeep authenticity! Its commercial performance has always been excellent, year after year, guaranteeing the model’s first place in sales throughout its history in Brazil,” said Everton Kurdejak, Jeep’s Vice President of Commercial Operations for Brazil. “I am sure that we will still have many important milestones to achieve with Renegade. Its new generation, launched in February of this year, brought even more performance and technology to the model. And that, combined with the great work of our dealer network, will guarantee its success in the coming years, I have complete confidence in that”, added Kurdejak.
Manufactured at the Goiana Automotive Complex (PE), the model is still exported to several Latin American countries, such as Mexico, Argentina, Peru, Uruguay, Colombia, Costa Rica, Panama, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, El Salvador, Paraguay, among others.
