Jeep® Brand Builds Nearly 10,000 Holiday Care Packages for U.S. Troops
Stellantis Employees and USO Team Up To Deliver Support Overseas

As the holiday season approaches, Jeep® has once again leaned into its heritage of service and patriotism. On September 18, more than 300 Stellantis employees teamed up with the United Service Organizations (USO) at the company’s North American Headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Together, they assembled nearly 10,000 care packages destined for U.S. troops stationed in more than 70 countries around the globe.

This annual tradition is more than just boxes of supplies—it’s a way to keep service members connected to home while they’re away from their families. Each package this year includes toiletries, snacks like beef jerky and holiday candy, HOIST hydration powder, a USO bandana, warm holiday socks, and even USB-powered twinkle lights to brighten up their living quarters. It’s a mix of practical items and thoughtful touches meant to bring a smile during the season.
Bob Broderdorf, Jeep® CEO, highlighted why this effort matters: “Jeep was the original freedom machine, dating back to 1941 and World War II. Our brand’s legacy is literally built on freedom and adventure. This is our way of saying thank you to the men and women who sacrifice so much to uphold that freedom.”

The USO’s Chief Development Officer, Ben Leslie, echoed that sentiment. “At the USO, we’re deeply moved by Jeep’s consistent contributions. The enthusiasm of the Stellantis team is inspiring, and we’re grateful for their continued support in uplifting America’s military community.”
Jeep’s relationship with the USO isn’t new—it dates back to 2008. Over the years, the brand has donated vehicles, supported USO gaming programs, and regularly participated in care package events like this one. For Jeep, it’s more than a partnership; it’s a responsibility tied to its military roots that stretch back to World War II when the original Jeep 4×4 became a battlefield staple.

The USO, founded in 1941, continues to play a critical role in the lives of service members and their families. With more than 250 global locations, robust entertainment programming, and efforts like these care packages, the nonprofit ensures that America’s heroes always feel connected to home.
For Jeep, the mission remains clear—support the troops, honor the past, and carry forward a spirit of freedom that has defined the brand for more than eight decades.
