Yesterday, we showed you some interesting new spy shots of the upcoming 2021 Dodge Durango GT. In those pictures, the front of the prototype was covered in heavy vinyl camouflage not showing much detail of what lies underneath. However, today, we are getting a better look at what is in store for Dodge’s three-row performance-based SUV.
In these latest spy photos exclusive to MoparInsiders.com, we can now see the 2021 Dodge Durango SRT will feature an all-new set of LED headlamps that feature a new LED signature daytime running light (DRL) design as well. The new DRLs look very similar to those on the 2020 Ram 1500 pickup. We also can see there is a new placement of the new LED fog lamps as well. The fog lamps over higher up on the front fascia and above what looks to be a new and more aggressive lower front fascia grille design.
The front grille appears to carry out a similar shape as the current design. But, if you take a closer look, you will notice a new grille texture design. Gone is the basic honeycomb design from the 2018 to 2020 models and in its place looks like something more in line with the Dodge Charger lineup.
Red brake calipers and Durango SRT wheels give this model away as Durango’s halo trim level.
One of our readers also happened to catch a 2021 Dodge Durango SRT wearing the same front camouflage as the other prototypes we have shown you. These blurry images confirm that the new sporty front will also be making its way up the Durango trim level chain.
