Is The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Limited The Best Family Vehicle Out There?
AWD or Hybrid Luxury Minivan, Still Offers Premium Content At A Great Value...
The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Limited comes into the 2021 model year, with new looks, new drivetrain options, and loads of new equipment. The Pacifica Limited used to be the top-tier in the minivan’s lineup, but with the new Pinnacle trim-level taking the reigns the Limited can focus on offering premium content in a revised package that still offers luxury at an affordable price.
Starting with powertrains, there are several options available depending on where you live. For Canadians, the award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 paired with front-wheel-drive is the standard powertrain. If you live in the United States, the gasoline-powered Pentastar V6 comes with all-wheel-drive (AWD) as standard equipment (AWD is optional in the Canadian market). There is also the gas-electric hybrid powertrain that delivers more than 80 miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe) or (2.9 Le/100 km) in electric-only mode, an all-electric range of more than 30 miles (50 kilometres), and a total range of more than 500 miles (800 kilometres).
Pacifica Limited adds a new premium console for 2021, that flows seamlessly into the instrument panel, with soft-sided console panels trimmed with an accent stitch. The new console provides dual-level storage with a large pass-through storage area and delivers about 7.6-liters of covered console storage. The console also includes a tambour door for center storage that is a half-inch wider and significantly longer than the 2020 model. The Limited interior is also dressed up with Brushed Hydro bezels on the instrument panel.
The Limited model stands above the popular Touring-L trim-level with additional standard content like the new enhanced 10.1-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen infotainment system with the new TomTom navigation, wireless device charging, a 13-speaker Alpine audio system, Nappa leather-trimmed seats, ventilated seats, tri-pane sunroof, new 18-inch polished aluminum wheels, hands-free sliding doors and liftgate, power-folding mirrors that automatically fold when the vehicle is in Park, memory mirrors, and memory audio settings.
