Many people know that the Jeep® Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is the most powerful and quickest SUV ever from the factory. While we love our long-term Trackhawk, it is quite pricy and unobtainable for some. So what happens when you take a late-model 2010 Grand Cherokee SRT8, ditch the 6.1-liter HEMI V8 in favor of a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI Hellcat V8? You get another monster from the garage of True Street Performance in Bay Shore, New York.
While our stock 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is rated for a factory rate quarter-mile time of 11.6-seconds, this modified Grand Cherokee Hellcat-powered SRT8 can run a 10.5-second quarter-mile pass. Equipped with a Paramount Super Pro NAG1 transmission and drag radials on all four corners, this thing can hook. Jim Koutsoubis owner of True Street Performance built this monster Grand Cherokee back in 2015, a full two years before the debut of Trackhawk too.
Our own R/T Life had a chance to check out the “HELLHaWK” out recently with Jim giving him a quick tour of the vehicle. Special thanks to Jim at True Street Performance and our friend R/T Life for giving us a look at this radical 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Be sure to check out the R/T Life YouTube channel for some other amazing Mopars he has been scoping out lately. Stay tuned as continue to share some of the amazing custom Hellcat-powered rides.
