German-Tuner Creates Aggressive Carbon Kit For Maserati MC20
Mansory's New "Soft Kit" Alters The MC20's Appearance, For The Better...
The Maserati MC20 Cielo, already a head-turner in its own right, has received a bold makeover courtesy of German tuner Mansory. The new soft kit for the MC20 Cielo promises to take the Italian supercar’s appearance to a whole new level, offering a range of carbon fiber add-ons that exude aggression from every angle.
The soft kit is a meticulous assembly of “Add-On” carbon parts, available for both the coupe and roadster versions of the MC20. For those seeking an even more intense look, a full carbon front hood is also available upon request. This addition not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also ensures optimal airflow for the potent twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter Nettuno V6 engine.
Mansory didn’t stop at just the exterior. The Nettuno engine, already a powerhouse with 630 horsepower and 538 lb.-ft. of torque, has received a boost. Now, it roars with an impressive 720 horsepower and 627 lb.-ft. of torque. This significant increase propels the MC20 into the realm of true supercars. The modified MC20 now boasts a top speed of 205 mph (330 km/h) and can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 km/h) in a blistering 2.7 seconds.
To harness the newfound power, Mansory has equipped the MC20 Cielo with a set of striking Mansory FV.5 wheels. These one-piece forged rims, sized at 21 inches in the front and 22 inches in the rear, offer both style and performance. Wrapped in high-performance rubber, they ensure that the twin-turbocharged V6’s power is effectively transferred to the pavement.
The front end of the MC20 Cielo has undergone a radical transformation. A substantial splitter with integrated fins now guides air into the stock intakes, optimizing aerodynamic efficiency. Additionally, a vented hood and an array of carbon fiber accents around the grille, headlights, and intakes add to the aggressive aesthetic.
While Mansory has not publicly disclosed the pricing for the MC20 soft kit, one can surmise that it is tailored for enthusiasts with a penchant for aftermarket enhancements and a willingness to invest in a level of exclusivity that is bound to turn heads.
