German Company Develops Aggressive Widebody Kit For Dodge Charger!

For All The Non-Widebody Owners Out There, There Is Another Option...

In 2020, Dodge introduced the Widebody package for its Scat Pack and Hellcat lineups. The Widebody package added unique front and rear fascias, body-color fender flares, Widebody competition suspension with Bilstein three-mode adaptive damping, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and a set of 20-inch x 11-inch wheels wrapped in Pirelli 305/35ZR20 performance rubber.

Since then, the Widebody package has been a big hit for Dodge. However, for owners of 2015 to present Dodge Charger non-Widebody cars, it has left them looking to the aftermarket for Widebody kits to help give their cars that Widebody appeal. And there are a lot of aftermarket companies out there with some amazing kits for both Dodge Charger and Challenger applications.

But one company from Germany has a new option for Charger owners. S. Bader Karosserie und Lack offers Widebody kits for a number of American and German rides including the Charger and Challenger. But their latest kit for the Charger gives the non-Widebody Charger SRT styling, an even more aggressive tone. This is in part by their Widebody kit being more than just sculpted fender flares and integrating into the body side styling of the car.

The S. Bader Karosserie und Lack Widebody kit adds side sills, a front splitter, extensions to the rear fascia, and even a ducktail rear spoiler. There is even a Hellcat Redeye-styled hood that replaces the older Hellcat hood.

The car shown here is a 2016 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, equipped with the Widebody kit, but also adds beefer 21-inch Schmidt FS-Line three-piece wheels wrapped with 295/35ZR21 rubber up front and massive 355/25ZR21 rubber in the rear. That should help put that 707 horsepower to the ground. Of course, longer axles and 25mm wheel space are needed to help fill out those large fender extensions.

The car has also been upgraded with an adjustable KW Variant 4 coil-over kit to help give the car a much lower stance.

The S. Bader Karosserie und Lack kit can be found on their website and runs for €3,990 (or about $4,072 USD).
