Flower Power Demon: Mod Top Meets Modern Muscle

Digital Artist Reimagines the 2023 Challenger SRT Demon 170 with a Groovy Twist...

Abimelec Arellano (@abimelecdesign) has done it again. Known for his jaw-dropping digital automotive renderings, he’s taken the ferocious 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 and given it a retro makeover with a nostalgic nod to Mopar history: the iconic Mod Top design. This reimagining perfectly blends the bold, psychedelic aesthetic of the late 1960s and early 1970s with one of today’s most powerful production cars.

The exterior features a Pale Yellow paint job, reminiscent of the sunshine-drenched hues from the muscle car era, and is topped with a vibrant floral Mod Top design. The floral vinyl, inspired by the classic patterns used on Dodge and Plymouth models back in 1969 and 1970, turns heads with its loud, colorful personality. Chrome wheels further enhance the vintage vibe, while the Mopar Direct Connection parachute hanging out back reminds everyone this Demon means business.

Inside, the retro theme continues. The seats are wrapped in Pale Yellow leather, with the same Mod Top floral fabric used for the inserts. The wood-trimmed dashboard, a nod to Dodge’s earlier “Holy Guacamole” Challenger concept, adds an extra touch of vintage class. Arellano’s design masterfully bridges the gap between classic Mopar charm and modern muscle car performance.

The 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170, with its staggering 1,025 horsepower from its supercharged HEMI® V8, is already a beast of a car. Adding this throwback Mod Top treatment takes it to a new level of cool. While it may exist only in digital form, it’s a concept that sparks the imagination of any Mopar fan dreaming of the perfect blend of past and present.

Abimelec Arellano’s ability to capture the spirit of classic Mopar design while keeping it relevant to today’s performance landscape is truly remarkable. This Mod Top Demon 170 isn’t just a car—it’s a rolling tribute to the wild, flower-power era of Mopar muscle.
