First 2026 Dodge Charger SIXPACK Scat Pack Roars Off The Line In Windsor
A New Era Of American Muscle Officially Begins
A new chapter in modern muscle officially kicked into gear yesterday as the very first production-ready, gasoline-powered 2026 Dodge Charger SIXPACK Scat Pack rolled off the assembly line at the Windsor Assembly Plant. December 2nd, 2025, will now mark a milestone moment—not just for Dodge, but for the loyal community that has stood by Mopar performance through thick and thin.
This isn’t just another car launch. It’s the physical proof that “multi-energy muscle” isn’t a slogan—it’s now a reality.
The Return Of Gas-Burning Muscle, Dodge Style –

While Dodge made plenty of headlines over the past year with the all-electric Daytona Scat Pack, yesterday’s moment belongs to horsepower delivered the old-fashioned way—fuel, fire, and twin turbos.
Under the hood sits the beefed-up twin-turbo 3.0-liter HURRICANE High-Output (H/O) I6, Dodge’s most powerful production version of the engine yet. Dodge simply calls it SIXPACK H/O, and the name fits:
-
550 horsepower
-
531 lb-ft of torque
-
0–60 mph in just 3.9 seconds
That’s serious performance—and an undeniable statement to every muscle car fan worried the industry was putting gasoline power out to pasture.
“This is the next big step in the launch of the all-new Dodge Charger multi-energy muscle car lineup with the start of production of the new 550-horsepower, SIXPACK-powered Dodge Charger Scat Pack,” said Dodge CEO Matt McAlear. “The Unifor-represented employees at Windsor Assembly are assembling a new Charger lineup that has already won multiple awards, including Ward’s 10 Best Interiors, Ward’s 10 Best Propulsion Systems, and a MotorWeek Drivers’ Choice award, and delivers power of choice through a true multi-energy platform.”
That “power of choice” is the key. The Scat Pack joins the already-in-production Charger Daytona Scat Pack (with 670 horsepower of battery-electric fury) as Dodge’s first dual-powertrain muscle lineup ever.
Two doors? Four doors? Gas? Electric? Dodge is letting the customer choose their flavor of speed.
Windsor Assembly: The Hub Of Dodge Muscle –

Windsor Assembly Plant, already home to the Chrysler Pacifica, Pacifica Hybrid, Voyager, and Grand Caravan minivans, now officially serves as the birthplace of Dodge’s entire next-generation muscle lineup. And Stellantis is investing big on Canadian soil to make it happen.
The company has poured $1.9 billion CAD ($1.4 billion USD) into Windsor for major upgrades, including:
-
Conversion to the STLA Large multi-energy platform
-
Installation of more than 300 advanced robots
-
A dedicated battery cell line for battery-electric vehicle (BEV) capability
-
Over 400 workstation improvements to boost precision
To keep pace with anticipated demand, a third shift will be added in early 2026. Up to 1,500 new jobs are coming with it, and hiring is already underway. This is more than a vehicle launch—it’s a major economic boost for the region and a strong sign of confidence in the future of Dodge muscle.
Deliveries Begin Soon –

Those first production units are now headed into final inspection and shipping preparation. And customers won’t have to wait long — dealership deliveries are scheduled to begin later this month, putting real gasoline-powered muscle back into showrooms before the end of the year.
But the Scat Pack is only the beginning. The next wave of internal combustion Chargers arrives in the first quarter of 2026, including the 2026 Dodge Charger SIXPACK R/T, powered by the Standard-Output (S/O) Hurricane engine. Around that same time, production will expand to include four-door gasoline Charger models, giving buyers even more flexibility in how they want their muscle.
Dodge isn’t testing the waters on multi-energy performance — they’re committing to it with a full-scale lineup, offering both ICE and EV models to meet the demands of modern muscle enthusiasts.

Whether you cheer for electrons or internal combustion, Dodge is giving you a reason to smile. The Charger is finally back on the road, the Scat Pack name is alive and well, and muscle car performance remains as unapologetic as ever.
The first gasoline-powered 2026 Dodge Charger SIXPACK Scat Pack has officially arrived.
And the Brotherhood of Muscle just got louder.
