B-Segment Crossover Proves To Be A Huge Hit In LATAM...
In a remarkable achievement for Fiat, their Fiat Pulse has zoomed past Brazil’s 100,000 units sold mark, making waves in the country’s SUV market. Launched in October 2021, the Pulse has become a favorite among consumers, combining modern design, efficient performance, and cutting-edge technology.
Fiat’s foray into the SUV segment has proven to be a success story, with the Pulse earning its stripes as one of the best-selling B-SUVs in its class. Thanks to its sleek Fastback design, the Pulse contributed significantly to Fiat’s climb to the third position in the SUV market in 2023, boasting an impressive 11% segment share and over 86,000 units sold.
What sets the Pulse apart is its 200 Flex turbo engine, a powerhouse that clinched the prestigious Engine of the Year award from Autoesporte magazine and brought a new level of performance, fuel efficiency, and torque to the Brazilian automotive scene. Developed and produced at the Betim Automotive Pole, the Pulse showcases Fiat’s commitment to innovation and evolution.
In the 2023 lineup, Fiat introduced the Sound Design, a unique auditory experience for drivers, enhancing the pleasure of every journey. Paired with the Toro, this feature showcases Fiat’s dedication to creating a holistic driving experience beyond aesthetics and performance.
Not one to rest on its laurels, Fiat has upped the ante in 2024 by introducing the special S-Design series for the Pulse. This series adds a touch of sophistication with darkened finishes on key details, including the Fiat logo, skid plate, 16-inch wheels, and the interior. The S-Design package goes above and beyond by offering premium features like a 10.1-inch Uconnect 5 multimedia center with embedded GPS navigation, a wireless charger, a keyless Entry N’ Go, a rear parking sensor, and a reverse camera.
The success of the Fiat Pulse extends beyond Brazil, with exports reaching 12 countries in Latin America. This speaks to the Pulse’s appeal and positions Fiat as a key player in the region’s automotive landscape.
