FIAT Releases Opening Edition Of It’s New 2021 Strada Pickup:
Limited Edition Of 250 Units Will Be Built For Brazilian Market...
To celebrate the immediate commercial success of one of the most important launches in Brazil, the Fiat brand has taken its renowned Opening Edition series to its new 2021 Fiat Strada pickup. The limited-edition run of 25 units, includes Alaska White exterior paint and is serial numbered.
“The New Strada Opening Edition was made for collectors, thought and developed in the smallest details to mark this historic moment. After registering 6,564 units in July, we reached 8,689 models sold in August, placing the pickup as the second best-selling vehicle in Brazil. With the limited series, we offer a configuration for customers who wish to have an even more special vehicle ”, says Herlander Zola, director of Brand Fiat and Commercial Operations Brazil.
Based on the top-of-the-line Volcano trim, the 2021 Fiat Strada Opening Edition includes tapered LED headlamps with daytime running lights (DRLs), graphite skidplates on the front and roof bars, 16-inch aluminum wheels with a diamond finish, side steps, Gloss Black mirrors, Gloss Black badging, and Gloss Black Opening Edition decals. The rear of the pickup is completed by a trailer hitch and a bed divider with Opening Edition script decal on the tailgate.
Internally, the limited edition series features several elements in the cabin that help differentiate it from the rest of the lineup. The leather-wrapped steering wheel has silver-colored stitching, which is also featured on the gear shifter boot, floor mats, and the leather seats. A unique Opening Edition badge is located on the center console and indicates the serial number from 1 to 250.

All Strada Opening Edition models include the 1.3-liter “Firefly” inline-four-cylinder produces 109 horsepower @ 6,250 rpm and 103 lb.-ft. of torque @ 3,500 rpm (ethanol) or 101 horsepower @ 6,000 rpm and 99 lb.-ft. of torque @ 3,500 rpm (gasoline). The Strada Opening Edition is only available with a 5-speed manual transmission.
Another major highlight is the new 7-inch Uconnect touchscreen multimedia center, one of the most modern infotainment systems in Brazil. It brings sophisticated features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with wireless projection. It is possible to pair up to two smartphones. The system was developed by FCA in Brazil and is the most intuitive, functional, and friendly on the market, significantly improving the user experience with the vehicle, through the functions: navigation via Waze and Google Maps; music (Streaming | MP3); voice recognition (Siri | Google Voice); reading and responding to a “handsfree” message for SMS and WhatsApp, for example; and calendar integration.
The 2021 Fiat Strada Opening Edition has a Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of R $92,290.00 (or about $16,500 USD).
