FCA & Groupe PSA Announce Stockholder Meeting For Merger:
Meeting Will Be Held On January 4th, 2021...
The shareholders of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and Peugeot S.A. (Groupe PSA) are scheduled to meet virtually on January 4th, 2021 to discuss the proposed merger between the two companies. Both Brazil and European regulatory commissions have approved the deal as leaders from both companies are looking to complete the merger before the end of the first quarter of 2021.
Just a couple of weeks ago, FCA and Groupe PSA showcased the new logo for their new corporate identity pending approval. Stellantis will be the name of the new corporation, showcasing a portfolio of 14 automotive brands. The name of the new company, comes from the Latin word “stello” meaning “to brighten with starts”.

- Alfa Romeo
- Chrysler
- Citroën
- Dodge
- DS
- Fiat
- Jeep®
- Lancia
- Maserati
- Opel
- Peugeot
- Ram
- Vauxhall
The 50:50 merger will create the world’s fourth-largest automaker by volume, surpassing General Motors (GM) and Ford Motor Company. Only Volkswagen, Toyota, and Hyundai/KIA will be bigger.
FCA US also announced this morning that the registration statement on Form F-4 filed by FCA with the U.S. Securities and Excharge Commission in connection with the announcement of the merger of both companies back on November 20th, 2020.
