The Selec-Terrain system offers up to four driving modes (Auto, Snow, Sand/Mud), with the Trailhawk adding a Rock mode for enhanced off-road performance.
Performance and Engine –
At the heart of the 2025 Compass is a 2.0-liter, direct injection, turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine. This powerhouse delivers best-in-class standard horsepower at 200 horsepower and torque at 221 lb.-ft., paired with a highly efficient eight-speed automatic transmission. The most technologically advanced Compass ever includes an available 10.25-inch frameless full-color thin-film transistor (TFT) digital cluster and a 10.1-inch digital infotainment touchscreen. The Uconnect 5 system, standard on all models, supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and offers a wireless charging pad.
Safety and Security –
Safety is a top priority for the 2025 Compass, which boasts more than 80 standard and available safety and security features. Drowsy driver detection, pedestrian automatic emergency brake, active lane management, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-path detection are standard across all trims.
