VIDEO: HDRams At The 2019 Ram Heavy Duty Unveiling:

We Interview Designer Ryan Nagode, Engineer Troy Davis About The New 2019 Heavy Duty...

HDRams and Moparinsiders co-editor Robert S. Miller was at 2019 Ram Heavy Duty unveiling at the 2019 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, Michigan earlier this week. Ram shocked the truck world, becoming the first automaker to hit the 1,000 lb.-ft of torque mark, with its new 6.7-liter Cummins H.O. Turbo Diesel that produces an astonishing 400 Horsepower and 1,000 lb ft. of torque.

After the unveiling, we got to interview Chief of Ram Interior Design, Ryan Nagode as well as Ram Chief Engineer, Troy Davis about the new 2019 Ram Heavy Duty lineup.

We asked them, about the reason behind keeping the 4th generation cab and box design rather than the all-new 2019 Ram 1500’s 5th generation cab and box. Especially, since the truck is virtually new from the ground up. This is one of the questions, we got e-mailed the most about since we broke the news that the trucks were indeed of the last generation cab style.

We also wanted to know more about the challenges of making this new Heavy Duty, resemble the all-new 2019 Ram 1500 inside.

Stay tuned to HDRams for all the latest Ram Heavy Duty news and information.
