This past month, Dodge//SRT pulled back the covers on a new special edition series of its 2022 Dodge Charger and Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody models. The new “Jailbreak” models unlock color-combination ordering restrictions and add new factory-custom options to deliver enthusiasts the freedom to create their ultimate Hellcat Redeye Widebody to fit their individual personalities.
The Jailbreak program will only be available on the SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody versions of the Charger and Challenger (sorry non-Widebody fans). The new program allows customers to unlock those ordering restrictions, opening up the ability to mix and match from a full menu of features. Jailbreak models will include a unique Instrument Panel (I/P) badge and a revised powertrain calibration (same found on the Challenger SRT Super Stock) to push the horsepower to 807, a 10 horsepower gain.
The 2022 Dodge Challenger SRT Jailbreak Widebody opens up more than 20 different ordering categories, which includes 7 options for seats, stripes, and wheels, 6 brake caliper color options, 5 exterior badging finishes, 4 color choices for steering wheels, seat belts, floors mats, and some even new Jailbreak-exclusive content.
