Donut Media Looks At The History Of SRT:

Up To Speed On The SRT Brand...

Join the exceptionally funny James Humphrey from Donut Media’s “Up To Speed” webseries, as he looks at the history behind Chrysler’s Street Racing and Technology (SRT) marque.

The Chrysler’s SRT brand uses a successful product development formula featuring five proven hallmarks: awe-inspiring powertrains; outstanding ride, handling and capability; benchmark braking; aggressive and functional exteriors and race-inspired and high-performance interiors; to remain true to its performance roots.

SRT was repositioned as the “ultimate performance” halo of the Dodge brand, together creating a complete and balanced performance brand with one vision and one voice.

Soon vehicles outside the Dodge brand will carry their own performance trim names, even though SRT will still be working on those vehicles. For example, Jeep’s Trackhawk will be the performance marque for the brand while the vehicles will be considered like the Dodge Scat Pack vehicles as “Powered by SRT”.

Jeep’s current Grand Cherokee Trackhawk only has one SRT logo on the entire vehicle. That is the SRT logo on top of the supercharger. Expect the same when the 2021 Ram Rebel TRX makes it’s debut.
