A couple of months back, we shared news that Dodge dealers were able to start pre-ordering 2026 Charger models through the Stellantis Dealer Connect system. What really stood out were two new trims listed for the Charger (LB) lineup: GT and Outlaw. At the time, our sources confirmed these trims were tied to the new twin-turbo HURRICANE-powered SIXPACK models—GT for the standard-output version and Outlaw for the high-output beast.
Now, it looks like Dodge is going all-in on the Outlaw name.

I recently came across two official trademark applications filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), one for “Outlaw” and another for “Charger Outlaw.” Both were filed in May, and while Dodge hasn’t publicly confirmed the name just yet, these filings all but seal the deal. The trademarks specifically list “Land vehicles, namely, passenger automobiles sold exclusively by authorized dealerships, excluding vehicle wheels,” which indicates that this name is intended for a complete vehicle, not just a trim piece or accessory.
What makes this exciting is the significance of the Outlaw name. From everything we’ve seen and heard, the Charger Outlaw will be the High-Output (H/O) SIXPACK model—packing 550 horsepower and 521 lb-ft of torque from Dodge’s 3.0-liter twin-turbo HURRICANE I6. That’s a big jump from the outgoing 6.4-liter HEMI® V8 Scat Pack, offering 65 more horsepower and 51 more lb-ft of torque.

Performance will get a big boost from Dodge’s fourth-gen 8-speed 880RE automatic transmission. Plus, with all-wheel drive (AWD) standard and a selectable rear-wheel-drive mode, we have been told, drivers can enjoy the old-school muscle car fun while gaining improved all-weather grip.
There’s still no official word on a logo or emblem design for the Outlaw name, but the trademarks give us a clear signal: Dodge is rewriting the book on its muscle car branding, and the Outlaw is shaping up to be a major chapter.
Stay tuned—this outlaw might just steal the show.
