Chrysler’s 300C With The Performance Appearance Package Is UNDERRATED:

With SRT Looks, This Is The Best 300C Yet...

When the Chrysler 300 Series originally launched in late 2004,  you would be hard-pressed not to catch the luxury-oriented Chrysler 300C model around almost every street corner. Fast forward 16-years and the luxury-oriented sedan is still around and better than ever, however, you probably wouldn’t be able to see one of the HEMI-powered large luxury sedans for several days. Instead, the sporty dark-themed 300S dominants the lineup. While the 300S does offer a HEMI option, the 300 horsepower Pentastar V6 versions dominant the sales of Chrysler’s halo car.

But if you are still in the market for a large luxury sedan, the 2020 Chrysler 300C is still one of the best choices in the industry. As the pinnacle of the 300 Series lineup, the 300C features a standard 5.7-liter HEMI V8 produces 363 horsepower and 394 lb.-ft. of torque and is mated with a ZF-source 8-speed 8HP70 automatic transmission through a rotary dial shifter. Chrysler 300C models feature exclusive Platinum Chrome finishes, 20-inch polished-aluminum wheels, and “Sport” mode with paddle shifters from the 300S V8 model.

Inside, the 300C is offered in signature Black or Mocha interior with deep-quilted and perforated Nappa leather seats and door panels, hand-sanded natural pore wood, French accent stitching, and leather-wrapped steering wheel with a unique chrome accent ring. The interior is upscale and yet still sporty enough to satisfy enough of those looking for a luxury-oriented muscle sedan.

For 2020, Chrysler quietly announced a new package to add even more of the signature performance look to the top of the line 300C model. The new $695 Performance Appearance Package adds the styling from the exported much wanted 475 horsepower Chrysler 300 SRT (which has been adopted by the 300S models equipped with the S Model Appearance Package), with the Platinum Chrome accents of the 300C.

The SRT look gives a more aggressive look to the 300C while adapting to the bling factor of the car. You would think that the $695 Performance Appearance Package would attract more people to the premium trim level, however, we were hard-pressed to find many 300C models will this option. We had a chance to find one of these rare packages at Cherry Hill Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
