There have been a lot of Dodge fans who have expressed their concerns over the automaker’s decision to move forward to electrifying its next-generation muscle cars. Although Dodge will continue to offer internal combustion engines (ICEs) in the 2024 Dodge Challenger and Charger, it looks more like it will move away from the HEMI V8s in favor of its new twin-turbocharged Hurricane I6 engines instead.
But it hasn’t stopped digital artists from expressing their opinion of how the next-generation Dodge muscle cars should be offering HEMI V8 power!
Shortly after the unveiling of the Charger Daytona SRT Banshee, we started to see those artists show us what the next-gen Charger Daytona could look like with supercharged HEMI power.
But in the recent week, one of our favorite artists, Timothy Adry Emmanuel (@adry53customs) expressed his feelings about Dodge’s move to electrification with an awesome design involving the Charger Daytona.
“YOU CAN’T K⚡LL INTERNAL COMBUSTION” 💪🔥
Here’s what [you’ve] all been waiting for.. a Hemi V8 Blown Swap on the @dodgeofficial Charger Banshee EV Muscle car.. #Blowergang 🤙 – Timothy Adry Emmanuel (@adry53customs)
With a massive Pro Street blower atop a big-block HEMI V8, the car continues to feature its new ‘R-Wing’ design front end. Something that has us curious, is how the R-Wing would work at helping to feed air to the massive blown HEMI?
We also love the massively modified widebody design on the new Charger Daytona body.
The series of images are also inspired by the new installment of Need For Speed (NFS) Unbound street style. We love the not-so-subtle graphics that state “Muscle N3ver Dies!” on the driver’s door and “YOU CAN’T KILL ETERNAL COMBUSTION” on the passenger door. Both look as if they were scratched into the car with a car key.
To help set off the car, there is a wheelie bar and parachute attached to the rear of the car. Massive drag radials have been added to the concept’s ‘turbine-inspired’ wheels and a full-drag car interior with a roll cage, makes this car look like it’s ready to hit the drag strip.
Nevertheless, we love the design direction of this car by Adry. It goes to show just how much passion there is for the continuation of HEMI V8 power.
