Where is leadership and their China strategy? Why are all the new vehicles using overpriced Lithium NMC batteries?

If CATL/BYD and other Chinese battery companies that make cheap Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries build a plant in the US, where will they source the lithium from? South America? They can't use their existing supply chains in China since China is excluded the Infalation/EV tax credit bill.

Graphene and solid state batteries are the nuclear fusion of the battery world.

Who cares??? I'll stick with ICE vehicles. Don't want to deal with the batteries catching on fire o_O

Maybe you ought to read the article on Graphene ion, no cooling, charges 70 times faster, no precious metals,
can be produced with local materials

I was joking about graphene and solid state batteries - just like fusion, they are always be “just a few years around the corner” for the last 20 years if not longer.

You’re better odds wishing for advancements in lithium iron phosphate batteries.

First responders have to treat these EV's that catch fire differently as they tend to start up again later.🤮👎
A definite hazmat.
