Why the Second-Generation Dodge Dakota Deserves Your Attention

I absolutely agree with this.

The first vehicle I ever drove by myself was my dad's 1998 Dodge Dakota reg cab.

Which we traded for his 2004 club cab:

Yeah, would love to find one in my neck of the woods in descent condition, it would keep me from dreaming about a small to midsized Ram that might never materialize. Besides which, i’ll shortly have to turn the hEl Camino over to my nephew, since I’m just holding it until he’s ready to make it his high school project.

Regretfully, I traded my 1999 Dakota R/T club cab on a 2004 Ram Quadcab HEMISPORT because I thought I needed the bigger truck. I wish I could get that Dakota back!
