Typical Mercedes Benz interior and rear design. But that front design reminds me of a more Dodge design...

@Ryan Looks like they're issuing a statement about the range (specifically because of the criticisms surrounding it): https://www.carscoops.com/2018/09/mercedes-says-eqcs-200-mile-range-incorrect-releases-new-estimate/

The new estimate is still fairly unimpressive IMO.
350+ would be impressive, 279 is still not great. It’s understandable on a cheap, small car such as a Chevy Bolt, but Mercedes should be able to invest in a lot more technology given how much this is likely to cost.

200 miles of range is disappointing for as long as this has been in development...

IMO. It's fine. Battery pack is not small. Around 80 kWh. That's not cheap.

The next step is to improve charging time.
There are faster chargers in Europe. But less than 10 in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

I believe that in future both weight and battery capacity will be improved.

And they will be cheaper.

For quick charging there are limits but IMO we didn't hit the dead end yet

Probably right. I doubt this is going to be used very much as someone’s only vehicle. The owners will likely have ICE cars to use for longer trips.
