With the doom and gloom continuing on the overall European car market, down 21% last month and the lowest April in over 30 years (excluding the Covid-hit April 2020), the European passenger plugin vehicle market

Despite all the bluster from the VW group about the ID3 being the people's car, the fact is that it's been a sales fiasco. And even though Stellantis EVs are a first generation effort (especially the PSA products), the sales volume is nearly the same compared with the VW group.
Also, the 500e is the third most sold EV in Europe after Tesla. I hope that the executives at Stellantis notice the gigantic sales potential of the Fiat brand. The LATAM execs believed in it and the sales results there speak for themselves. It's time for the european executives to wake up to the fact that Fiat is a sleeping giant.

Not bad for the first EV by a brand that was "lagging years behind competition regarding electrification" until yesterday.

The 500e is amazing, and the platform underlying it is amazing. I hope it is the underpinning for the STLA Mini.
