Stellantis is once again shaking up the internal combustion game with the official reveal of its all-new turbocharged 2.0-liter Hurricane4 I4 engine. This compact powerhouse blends cutting-edge engineering, race-proven technology, and exceptional fuel efficiency.

NOICE... is it smoother than the GME? Can't wait to drive one. PUT THIS IN THE CHARGER YESTERDAY

Now, weld 2 of them to get a V8, and theoretically, you’d get 660hp and 650lbft of torque.

I wonder if the Hurricane I-6 will get the same upgrades?

The Jeep Gladiator is in a holding pattern for major upgrades and Toledo South isn't equipped for battery pack installation. This new EVO four would be a good stopgap option.

matched with a small battery, for Hybrid ops this would be a nice pairing.

Hurricane 6 is already more power dense. Twin turbos on a 6 make a near perfect wave form

Likely around 600 range because of packing and air flow. You can almost punt to that on the 6. But it would make the traditionalists happy. Especially if they slapped Hemi on it.
