Stellantis (FCA US, LLC) is recalling approximately 15,835 model year 2017 to 2020 Fiat 124 Spidervehicles. A software error in the airbag control module may cause the front airbags to deploy with excessive force during a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 208, “Occupant Crash Protection.”
